Muslim Youth Cup One-Day Tournament | Futsal & Netball | 12th to 19th December 2021

Sport has the power to unite people like little else does. In many ways, it is the uncontroversial and all- inclusive language of the youth - an activity which has the power to be physically, mentally and socially enriching all at once. Our aim is to attract the many Australian Muslims who have an undying love for sports, yet may have remained disconnected from the wider Muslim community for various reasons. This One Day Tournament serves to be a preface to our upcoming Muslim Youth Cup League in 2022. It is an opportunity for people to make new friends, realise one’s physical potential, and ultimately, have an enjoyable and exciting experience.

In our experience of Islam’s outward rules, we often forget that the Quran is home to a whole universe of awe inspiring stories. Not only do these stories invite deep reflection, but they incite transformative action that we can apply in our daily lives. MYA’s Story Night initiative seeks to create magical experiences where attendees will be carried away to a different time and place, listening in to the stories of our greatest Quranic figures while enjoying the bustle of vibrant food stalls, ambient bazaars and enthralling musical performances.
