Our hearts bleed and our tears pour. The events in Palestine, and indeed in many places around the world, seem to unfold without any end in sight. As the statistics continue to rise, the emotions coursing through us rise also. Pain. Anger. Worry. Confusion. Guilt.
However, it is now time to act. As Muslims blessed with food, shelter and security, it is a betrayal of the highest degree to sit by while our brothers and sisters face imminent suffering. We all have a part we can play, and the only thing stopping us from carrying it out, is ourselves.
What you can expect at our event:
- Guided Brainstorming Session*: Develop ideas to empower yourself, MYA, MSAs, or other organisations to create an impact.
- Educational Lectures: Learn from the critical ideas and reflection from community leaders and thinkers.
- Communal dua, fundraising stalls and more!
*Note: MYA and/or MSAs may commit to the implementation of ideas brainstormed on the day
Event organised by MYA, UNSWMSA, MUMSA & UTSMS
