Sisters Swimming has changed from Sun 13 July to Sun 27 July – time and location is the same
“If your aim is to hit the bullseye, you have already missed the target.”
– cool, profound quote by someone
The supreme sunnah sports are much more than mere physical activities. They are laden with secrets which cultivate tawakkul (trust in God), hudūr (presence), sabr (patience), istiqāma (consistency/steadfastness) and the art of refining niyyah (intention) in everything we do. When done in the right way, the sunnah sports have the power to holistically transform not just our jasad (body), but also our mind (aql), qalb (heart) and soul (ruh). Might sound crazy but these ancient arts can genuinely change the quality of our prayer, character and connection with God.
This July, join our campaign to revive the sunnah sports where you can expect hands-on events in archery, horse riding, swimming, wrestling, and walking, plus Instagram live conversations with legends from the world of sunnah sports.
